Nvidia makes a huge move into open AI models

NVIDIA is committing about $6 billion in a deal involving AI startup Poolside, including licensing technology, hiring more than 100 engineers and investing $1 billion in the company. Nvidia wants to strengthen its Nemotron open-weight models as competition from Chinese AI systems grows.
